The Power of Gratitude

My recent visit in Mount Vernon, Washington

Gratitude doesn’t always change our circumstances, but it shifts our perspective. It reminds me that even in the middle of uncertainty, there is still beauty to be found. A breath. A sunrise. A kind word. The quiet presence of God.

When I choose to give thanks, especially in the small, ordinary moments, I make room for peace. I stop focusing on what’s missing and start seeing what’s already here.

Gratitude is not about ignoring the hard things. It’s about remembering that goodness still exists, even in the midst of them. And often, that’s where healing begins, in a heart that says, “Thank You, God, for today.” – denise marie

“So if the son sets you free, you will be free indeed”. – John 8:36

I think gratitude puts you in a place where you receive more. I know I’d give another coin to a child who shows gratitude and makes me feel like I made a difference in his life. I’m sure its the same with God.

    Thanks for posting this
