Tonight, as the sun went down, I watched the sky turn a beautiful orange. I stood there for a moment, taking in the beauty, and felt something in me soften.

I thought about how often God meets me in these simple moments, His presence surrounding me and reminding me that He is with me. 

That sunset felt like hope as He spoke to my heart, I heard Him say, “You are worthy of everything good, YOU are God’s beloved”.

I know Father God loves me unconditionally. His love is not something I have to chase, prove, or hold onto tightly, it is already mine. 

There is deep freedom in this truth, “I am defined by the One who created me and calls me His own”. And while He loves me exactly as I am, He also gently leads me into the fullness of who I am created to be.

I’m letting this truth settle deeper than my thoughts. I’m letting it into my heart, my identity, and my daily life. There is freedom in knowing I am loved exactly where I am, while still becoming all that God created me to be.

The Posture of My Heart

I’ve learned that what matters most isn’t just what I do, it’s the posture of my heart while I’m doing it.

I can say the right words, but God is always looking deeper, He gently shapes the place where my motives are formed, where compassion grows, and where love begins.

So today, my prayer is to have a heart that is open, humble, and willing. A heart that listens before it speaks, forgives before resentment takes root, and chooses love.

When the posture of my heart is turned toward God, everything else begins to fall into its proper place. Peace becomes my response, kindness becomes my language, love becomes my way of living, and that is the kind of heart I want to carry into every moment.

I belong to love…

I am learning that one of the most healing truths I can carry with me is this:

I belong to love.

Love is the ground beneath my feet. It steadies my heart and reminds me to speak to myself with kindness, to extend grace to others, and to move through the world with an open heart instead of a guarded one.

This is the kind of life I choose to live, a life rooted in love, shaped by love, and overflowing with love. Because when I know where I belong, I can live with greater peace, deeper compassion, and quiet confidence, always returning to this simple truth again and again:

I belong to love.

And from that place, I am free to become all I was created to be.

God’s presence…

There is a sacred freedom that unfolds when I rest in God’s presence. In His nearness, the need to perform or prove myself fades. The masks come off, the striving ceases and I begin to breathe again, deeply and honestly.

I’m learning that returning home to self and to God, is freedom. It’s the soul remembering who it’s always been…Here, I am defined by love. 

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. And in that holy space, I am finally free, to heal, to rest and to be.

Worthy are you Lord….

Even in the shifting winds of life, You remain steady. I whisper Your name and remember, You are Lord. You are Lord over my joys and my sorrows, over the things I understand and the things I cannot yet see.

Worthy are You, Lord, no matter the circumstances. My praise does not depend on what I feel, what I have, or what I’ve lost. My praise rises because of who You are, faithful, unchanging, sovereign.

When storms gather, You are the anchor. When blessings overflow, You are the source. And when I cannot trace Your hand, I will still trust Your heart.

So today, in this very moment, I choose to lift my eyes. I choose to whisper thank You. I choose to praise You because You are Lord over my life. My trust, my hope, and my future rests in You.

    A love like no other…

    God’s love is the foundation that steadies me, the light that guides me, and the healing balm that restores me. Nothing compares to this love, it is the anchor of my soul.

    He holds me close, reminds me that I am not alone, and whispers peace into the places of my soul that ache. This love restores, renews, and carries me through every season. Truly, there is no greater love.

    “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind… and love your neighbor as yourself.”

    These words from Matthew 22:37-39 are simple, but they hold the weight of everything that matters. Love God fully, let every thought, every action, every breath be shaped by that love. And then, let that same love flow toward others and toward yourself.

    It’s not a checklist, it’s a way of living. A steady rhythm of receiving love from God and giving it back through how we care, how we forgive and how we show up in the world. In the end, love is the thread that holds it all together. – denise marie

    Resting in…Gods transcending love.

    The love God has for me transcends everything…time, distance and even my own understanding. It is not bound by circumstances or changed by the shifting seasons of my life, His love was here before I took my first breath and will carry me beyond my last.       There is a quiet comfort in knowing we are held, gently and securely by God. In the chaos of life, in the middle of questions, fears, and uncertainty, His presence comforts us and His peace surrounds us.

      Everlasting love…

      Today I stood still in the quiet of nature, the trees towering above me like protectors, the wind brushing past my skin like a whispered reminder: You are loved, always.

      There’s something about being outside that makes His love feel closer. Not loud or forced, just constant, gentle and everlasting.

      The same way the sun rises without needing our permission, His love shows up, every morning, every moment, unchanging. I don’t have to earn it, I don’t have to strive for it, I just have to receive it.

      The everlasting love of Jesus isn’t based on how steady I am, it’s based on how steady He is. Rooted like the trees,
      faithful like the river, and endless like the sky. And in that love, I can finally rest.
