I am Loved, Whole and Free

I am learning that there comes a time in my healing when I realize that what I’ve been searching for has always been within myself. Not in approval, not in perfection, but in the steady, unshakable love that God has for me.

When my identity has been shaped by pain, betrayal, or brokenness, I forget who I am. I wear a mask, I shrink and forget that I am deeply known, fully seen, and still completely loved.

Today, my healing begins in returning to the One who calls me by my true name, Daughter, Beloved, Whole and Loved. I am letting that truth rewrite my identity, it is who I am. – denise marie

You are already chosen…

For so long, I believed my worth depended on being chosen, by a partner, a friend, a job, a community. If someone picked me, I felt valuable. If they didn’t, I questioned everything about myself.

But healing has taught me a deeper truth, my worth doesn’t come from people’s decisions. It doesn’t rise or fall based on who stays or who walks away. My value is steady because it comes from God, not from anyone’s approval.

Being chosen by others may feel good, but it’s not the foundation I build my identity on anymore. I was already chosen by God before I ever tried to earn love or prove I belonged.

So if you’re wrestling with rejection or feeling unseen, remember this, You are already loved, already worthy, and already enough. – denise marie

Where my healing flows..

Today, I give myself permission to breathe. To go outside and to listen to the wind. Help me to calm my mind and to be still long enough to hear the heartbeat of my own soul. God I thank you for already being here, waiting for me, this is where my healing flows. – denise marie

Surrounded by Gods presence…

Such beauty in La Conner, Washington

There’s something sacred about standing near water, in those moments, the world slows down, and the noise within begins to settle. Here, I’m not defined by what I’ve lost or what lies ahead. I’m simply His beloved, grounded in grace and covered by love. – denise marie

Holding Space for my Healing…

In the quiet of trees, in the stillness of prayer, God meets me. He reminds me that it’s okay to rest, to cry, to be tender. This journey is sacred. My healing is sacred. And I don’t have to rush it.

I’m no longer hiding my pain or shrinking to make others comfortable. I’m holding space for all of me, with gentleness, with honesty, and with God right beside me.

I hold space for the woman I’m becoming. The one who was broken but is learning to breathe again. The one who walks into nature not to escape, but to return home to herself. – denise marie

A sacred space to breathe again…

When life feels too heavy, I return to the place where my soul can breathe again. Where I can just be. And every time, God lets me know that He is with me, covering me with His love which is steady, faithful and constant.  – denise marie

Inhale Peace and Exhale What No Longer Serves You

Take a deep breath…inhale peace, the kind that quiets your soul and reminds you that you are held by something greater. Then exhale…releasing fear, tension, and the lies you’ve been told or believed about yourself. Let them go.

This sacred exchange, breathing in peace and breathing out anything that doesn’t align with your truth, is a prayer in itself. It’s an invitation to reconnect with God, with clarity, and with the divine strength inside you.

Today, be sure to make space for this quiet moment and let your breath lead you back to your truth. – denise marie

Let my life be a reflection of His truth….

There’s something sacred about being honest, with ourselves and with God.
So often, I come to Him with polished prayers, hoping to impress, afraid to expose the messy places. But God isn’t looking for performance, He’s looking for presence. He doesn’t ask for perfection, He asks for surrender. When I bring God my real fears, my doubts, my confusion, my anger, even my silence, I am giving Him access to heal, to speak, and to transform. Today Lord, help me to walk in your freedom.

When the Roots Rot: A Spiritual Wake-up Call.

Not long ago, I noticed one of my plants wilting, even though the soil was damp. I thought it needed more water, but the more I gave, the worse it got. When I finally pulled it from the pot, I saw the real issue, root rot. Hidden below the surface, the roots were mushy, dark and dying. It hit me, this is how our spiritual lives can also look.

We may appear fine on the outside, smiling, showing up and serving. But beneath the surface, something may be decaying. Old wounds we never dealt with, unforgiveness, burnout, unhealed trauma or disconnection from God. No matter how much “watering” we do, it won’t fix the root. Sometimes, God invites us to pause and dig deeper. To pull up what’s dying, expose it to His healing light, and let Him replant us in truth and grace.

If your spirit feels tired, don’t ignore the signs. God is not here to shame you, He’s the gentle Gardener, ready to restore what’s been hidden and hurting.

Lean into Him and let Him do the deep work. Let Him heal your roots.

    Jehovah Rapha…the Lord who heals.

There are moments in life when we carry pain so deep it feels impossible to express. It may be physical pain, emotional wounds, or the invisible ache of a broken heart. But in the midst of it all, there is hope, and His name is Jehovah Rapha, The Lord Who Heals.

When I say, “God is my Jehovah Rapha,” I am declaring my trust in His power to restore what has been lost, to renew what feels broken, and to bring peace where there has been chaos. Even when I don’t see the change right away, I rest in the promise that He is working in me, around me, and through me.

If you’re walking through a season of pain or uncertainty, I invite you to whisper His name: Jehovah Rapha. Let that truth sink into your heart. You are not forgotten. You are not beyond healing. The God who heals is near, and He is faithful. – denise marie
