My Journey Home…

There’s something sacred about the journey back to love, the kind that begins with God, that transforms how I see myself, and leads me into wholeness.

Falling in love with God isn’t about religious performance; it’s about discovering the One who loved me first. It’s a quiet surrender, a drawing close, a resting in presence where striving ceases.

As I lean into that love, I begin to see myself differently. Not through shame or scarcity, but through grace and my reflection softens. I start to unlearn the lies, rewrite the inner dialogue, and reclaim my worth.

And that’s where wholeness begins, not in perfection, but in acceptance, not in having it all together, but in being fully known and still deeply loved.

This journey is tender, It’s holy ground, and every step is towards love, God, self, and a step towards healing. This is my road to becoming, and this is My Journey Home.

The beauty of being present…

Such beauty…captured in
La Conner, Washington

When I slow down and sit with God in the now, I begin to see the purpose in the pause. I learn to listen, to breathe, and to trust. The in-between is holy ground, and as much as it’s uncomfortable, I won’t rush it. God is here, and He’s still writing my story.

To Abide in Him…

Summer days in California…

I am not meant to hold everything together on my own because I know that self-sufficiency is a heavy burden. Jesus invites me to let go of striving and instead; to abide, to be still, to be present, and to simply be with Him. – denise marie

The heart of a seeker…

Lately, I’ve found myself slowing down. There’s something sacred about pausing long enough to feel Gods presence, to breathe in peace and to exhale gratitude, this sacred practice of being present, brings me joy. – denise marie

      God’s presence brings me peace…

When anxiety rises, pause. Breathe. Go outside, feel the wind on your skin, the sun on your face, and remember, you are held. God’s presence is near, and His peace is given, freely, again and again.

      The Power of Gratitude

My recent visit in Mount Vernon, Washington

Gratitude doesn’t always change our circumstances, but it shifts our perspective. It reminds me that even in the middle of uncertainty, there is still beauty to be found. A breath. A sunrise. A kind word. The quiet presence of God.

When I choose to give thanks, especially in the small, ordinary moments, I make room for peace. I stop focusing on what’s missing and start seeing what’s already here.

Gratitude is not about ignoring the hard things. It’s about remembering that goodness still exists, even in the midst of them. And often, that’s where healing begins, in a heart that says, “Thank You, God, for today.” – denise marie

I am Loved, Whole and Free

I am learning that there comes a time in my healing when I realize that what I’ve been searching for has always been within myself. Not in approval, not in perfection, but in the steady, unshakable love that God has for me.

When my identity has been shaped by pain, betrayal, or brokenness, I forget who I am. I wear a mask, I shrink and forget that I am deeply known, fully seen, and still completely loved.

Today, my healing begins in returning to the One who calls me by my true name, Daughter, Beloved, Whole and Loved. I am letting that truth rewrite my identity, it is who I am. – denise marie

      You are already chosen…

For so long, I believed my worth depended on being chosen, by a partner, a friend, a job, a community. If someone picked me, I felt valuable. If they didn’t, I questioned everything about myself.

But healing has taught me a deeper truth, my worth doesn’t come from people’s decisions. It doesn’t rise or fall based on who stays or who walks away. My value is steady because it comes from God, not from anyone’s approval.

Being chosen by others may feel good, but it’s not the foundation I build my identity on anymore. I was already chosen by God before I ever tried to earn love or prove I belonged.

So if you’re wrestling with rejection or feeling unseen, remember this, You are already loved, already worthy, and already enough. – denise marie

      Where my healing flows..

Today, I give myself permission to breathe. To go outside and to listen to the wind. Help me to calm my mind and to be still long enough to hear the heartbeat of my own soul. God I thank you for already being here, waiting for me, this is where my healing flows. – denise marie

      Surrounded by Gods presence…

Such beauty in La Conner, Washington

There’s something sacred about standing near water, in those moments, the world slows down, and the noise within begins to settle. Here, I’m not defined by what I’ve lost or what lies ahead. I’m simply His beloved, grounded in grace and covered by love. – denise marie
