Jehovah Rapha…the Lord who heals.

There are moments in life when we carry pain so deep it feels impossible to express. It may be physical pain, emotional wounds, or the invisible ache of a broken heart. But in the midst of it all, there is hope, and His name is Jehovah Rapha, The Lord Who Heals.

When I say, “God is my Jehovah Rapha,” I am declaring my trust in His power to restore what has been lost, to renew what feels broken, and to bring peace where there has been chaos. Even when I don’t see the change right away, I rest in the promise that He is working in me, around me, and through me. 

If you’re walking through a season of pain or uncertainty, I invite you to whisper His name: Jehovah Rapha. Let that truth sink into your heart. You are not forgotten. You are not beyond healing. The God who heals is near, and He is faithful. – denise marie

My healing journey…

I’ve been battling some anxiety, and I’ve realized that walking outside and praying has given me some relief. I didn’t plan for it to become my refuge, but it has.

One morning, when the heaviness felt unbearable, I put on my shoes and walked. I didn’t know where I was going only that I needed to move. I found a trail near my home, and as I stepped into that quiet space surrounded by trees and sky, my soul instinctively whispered a prayer. At first, it wasn’t anything profound, just a desperate, quiet “God, please help me.” And He met me there. Something sacred happens with each step, I feel like I’m leaving behind the pressure, the overthinking, the fear. My breath slows down, my thoughts soften and my prayers become less about begging for relief and more about being held.

      The Holy Spirit is the very presence of God within us. Let Him lead. Let Him renew. Let Him fill every empty space. There is power in His presence, and peace in His voice.

          My God is faithful..

          There were days when I felt like giving up. Times when the weight of grief, betrayal, or uncertainty pressed hard against my soul. But in every low moment, God showed up. Not always with instant answers or solutions, but with His presence, He whispered peace to my anxious heart and reminded me, “I am with you.” Through it all, I have discovered one unshakable truth: My God is faithful.
