The sacred stillness in nature…
There’s a sacred stillness in nature that speaks to my soul. When my nervous system feels overwhelmed, I step into His creation and let His presence wrap around me like a gentle embrace. He calms my heart, stills my mind, and fills me with a peace that surpasses all understanding.

God’s peace sustains me…
In the stillness, He speaks. In the beauty, He reminds me that He is near. Every breath of fresh air is a reminder that His love renews, His peace sustains, and His grace is always enough. – denise marie

Nurturing to my soul…
I’ve learned that nature provides a unique space for me to reconnect with God while nurturing my own soul.
The same God who created the beauty around us also created us with care and intention. When we allow ourselves to pause and listen, we hear His whispers reminding us of our worth and His love.

A glimpse of my ventures outdoors…
These last few years, I’ve learned to slow down just enough to be present and lean into the stillness as I seek God in prayer. My greatest moments are when I am basking in His presence while in nature, it brings me pure joy.
to be “seen”….
Several years ago, I attended a women’s retreat in South Lake Tahoe. Being one of only a couple black women there, I felt lonely in a room full of women who seemed to be connected.
Our human desire is to be “seen”, experience connection & to show up in our true authentic self.
As an empath & encourager, I intentionally try to “see” the gold in others, praying quietly asking God to help me “see” & love others as He see’s & loves me.
